Been there done that on RayBob myself.

Sounds like you might of spun your hub....

Also, you might of bent your prop shaft also.

I would have NTM or Rockwall Marine look at it.

See if they can try to bend it back (If it's a prop shaft- usually no warranty)

Keep your powder dry & don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes!!

You could have a rubber hub. If that is the case take it to James Propeller in Carrolton and they and press out the rubber hub you can replace it with a plastic one that you can change out yourself. Also, before you pull your prop spin it with your hand and observe the prop shaft. If it bent you will see it wobble. I know that DeSoto is a little ways from you but, you might try D&B Motor repair at 972-243-6882. David is backed up like everbody else but, might get you in quicker. He is excellent with lower units. Also, from experience I know that bent shafts are usually covered by insurance.

You may have a pressed in hub. If you put the boat in gear, turn the prop by hand. If you knocked the hub out, the hub will slip on the propshaft and allow the prop to turn. The prop shaft will remain still.

Also spin the shaft with the boat in neutral. If it is bent, you will see it wobble.

Send Opti an Email and he can help you out with it.
