Make sure you replace with dual leaf springs. Many boat trailers have single leaf which is a accident waiting to happen.

alluminum boat trailers are more servicable than the trailers that that come with boats but get ready to take a big hit when you go to sell it beccause most people want the correct oem trailer that goes with the boat .

My Basscat trailer has been by far the best trailer.I like that if you damage the fiber glass fenders you can call BCB and get one sent and be ready to go the next weekend.

+1 I own 2 McClain trailers that are 20+ years old and will probably outlast me. My 15 year old Nitro trailer is a rusted out out POS.

Basscat builds a great trailer. Not just a strong trailer but everything about them from the front step to the Gatorhyde being built into the paint. I use my front step all the time. What you do want is a C channel trailer not a tubluar trailer. Your C Channel trailers always seem to be stonger.

Well I got it fixed. I found a boat guy who works out of his house to fix my trailer. He put two new 2500 lb. leaf springs on my trailer. I was 100 miles from home so I thought I was lucky to find this guy. The whole deal only cost me $220, I thought that was a great price. He did the work in 2 days.

The BEST answer......... If possible ALWAYS buy a Tandem Axle trailer, cause if ya fish it hard its gonna wear out, brand doesn't matter.
