On your boat consideration, remember that living in San Antonio, you will want to zip down to the coast every few weeks for some trout and redfish.

ok, y'all. Thanks for the welcomes. I won't buy another boat right away. I think a different tow vehicle would be first. Been unemployed since '09. As far as species, my wife and I are all about the bass. Looking forward to catching some larger ones. Although my son would enjoy having the boat, his job during the summer has prevented him from fishing. I think he went twice. I will keep you informed when we will be San Antonians.

Don't come down here sucking off our Welfare.

You will need to get behind the Illegal Aliens and let them get free medical, schooling for Illegal children, WIC ,etc.

As a US Citizen you must let them go first, before a Legal Citizen can get help.........

The 16' will get the job done and there's a lot of people who have them, but when the wind gets howling (which in the summer is quite frequent) on some of the larger reservoirs here in the state, you'll sure wish you had a bigger boat.

We've been researching townhome rentals online in the Northwest and Northcentral areas. Anyone know about the Providence Estates, lakeside villas, or the Fredricksburg townhome communities?

Welcome to SA in advance. San Antonio is a great city, and the bass fishing is pretty darn good as well. Just be careful when the wind picks up, which it always seems to be blowing down here.

bucketmouth and lady62bass will be in San Antonio by Friday the 25th or Saturday the 26th. We had our first snow fall here in the Twin Cities and I slipped and fell on our driveway. Ready to be in warmer temps.

We are staying at Candlewood Suites for about a month while we try to find a place to rent on a more permanent basis. Any storage facility recommendations where I can store my boat? Don't want it to stay in the hotel parking lot.
