need your honest opinions on this boat and motor.
1999 hull and 2002 top cap Ranger R93VS 19’9”
1999 200 Merc EFI
the hold top of boat was replaced in 2002 with new top thats every thing you see and use.
boats are made in 2 pieces the hull and the top cap.
top cap is every thing but the bottom or hull of the boat.
so i guest in need to know what you think about a 1999 hull
and what you think about the layout and how well it is designed for a 2002 Ranger R93VS 19’9”
does the motor or boat have a history of problems and what are they.
even rumers.

i am running a 200 merc efi, no problems since 96

oh yea forgot to say mine is a 96 efi 200, very happy with it, no problems at all

I bought a Ranger last year and as soon as I complete an addition to my house it is gone. (per the wife's directive) The ride just plain suxs.
Check out the trading post /swap page, for a few more bucks you can buy a one year old skeeter tzx190, or for a few more a tzx200 and for few more a new basscat pantera, all three of those will out perform and outlast the 99/02 ranger with a rebuilt motor
