I like the Rockcrawler Texas Craw or Blue Bayou colors with raptor craw trailers.

Last week I used a an Oldham Screw Lock in the Little Gator color. For a trailer I cut the top off a kriet kreature and put it on, it was in watermelon red. http://www.oldhamjigs.com/http://www.bigbitebaits.com/KKwatrmlnRed.jpg

3/4 oz JoBaby Brush Jig in Camo or Tilapia worked best for us down there. Trailer was a Rage Craw or Xcite Raptor Tail Jr. in Wat/Red.

If you plan on throwing Jigs one color does not work all the time. I rotate four to five differant colors depending on the time of the day and water color. Usually dark early and watermelon candy when it is bright. These fish are feeding on several differant things depending again on what time of day and what end of the lake. Try to copy what you think they are eating. Crawfish, Bream, Perch, Talipa , shad etc. It is not just one color .
