I believe Hendricks is up there. Castaway custom builds as well

Reel Time Rods is in Greenville just east of Dallas. Ron does some super high quality work and has more reasonable prices than most custom rod builders.

Reel Time Rods is in Greenville just east of Dallas. Ron does some super high quality work and has more reasonable prices than most custom rod builders. +1 on Reel Time rods. THIS

I've purchased 3 rods from Mat and Charner (Trinity Custom Rods). All very well constructed with good quality materials. My 2 pc, 7' casting rod has caught 2 tarpon over 60#, plus several large 'cudas to 4' and a 12# permit.

+1 for Trinity. All my spinning gear and all but one of my bass rods are Trinity and I'm about to get that changed with my next order.

Shockwave rods -- Bobby makes a great rod. He is not in the DFW area; he is located at Toledo Bend. However, he will make the rod to your specifications. I have had him make two rods for me and I am very pleased. Micro guides and very light. Very durable. check him out.
