Some of you guys may already know this but just in case someone comes to check it out I thought this needed to be brought up. There are spot on Pines where the boat lane is extremely shallow. There is one spot (see the pic below) where the water is inches deep and you will run aground. I was there yesterday and put in by the dam and after fishing for several hours thought I'de run up to 155 to check it all out. Well I was running on plain about 60 mph when I saw what looked to be dry land on each side of the boatlane. I immediately shut it down and idled about 10 more feet till i hit bottom. I marked the spot on gps to show you guys. Please be careful out there (not just on pines). These low water conditions can jack you up pretty quick.

Crazy that's pines is that low and 25 pd sacks still coming from 155 area. Pines is one the best lakes around if not the best!!!! Sure it doesn't have the share lunkers fork has but u better have close to a 25 pd sack if your going to scratch a check... Just sayin.....

There are guys blowing through that area. I have a buddy that lives in Lone Star and he said they have getting through that area. I don't see how but he swears he's getting through there.

Better not run at 60mph!! Be a lot safer if you put in at Cedar springs and IDLE 1

The only way ti get through there is to run the main creek channel in the timber. Everyone I talked to is doing that to get there

you can run the main creek channel but you have to idle, cause like mentioned above there is timber everywhere!!!!  If you want to fith the 155 area, I would just put in at cedar springs.
