Does anyone have one? I was wondering if they are very accurate. Can you pull up GPS coordinates off of it? Could someone possibly upload a pic from it for me to see how it looks? I was just asking a few questions about it because I was thinking about getting one for my laptop. Any info would be appreciated.

Yes, I have Navionics Explorer. It is the same basic maps as the earlier regional editions and you get one free HD map of your choice when you purchase. You can purchase additional HD maps, Note the price, you get what you pay for. It looks like any paper map with average 10' contours. Yes you can mark waypoints. Those go into a waypoint file. When viewing the maps, the coordinates of the curser is shown. The waters you are interested in may or may mot be included. It states it has 10,000+ maps.

Thanks I appreciate it. I use a map a lot when on the water and was wanting something that I could use as a better reference. I have a GPS, but does not take a chip. I think this is going to help tremendously.

What waters are you looking for? I can check the map files to see they are included. It's a waste of money if your waters are not included.

Unless Rayburn is known by some other name, it is not included in the issue I have. The rest are.

This product has been discontinued for over a year. We have replaced it with t totally new PC application that sells for 24.99 and is the latest and greatest info as well as updated on a regular basis. Just go to the web store on Navionics.com.

If I understand..this product is a download e.g. of all the maps that are on my Hot Maps South SD card that's in my GPS. I can look at any map on my PC and do my research at home. Is there a way to create waypoints and transfer them to my SD card? Thanks.

I just downloaded Navionics South. It is a bit confusing I went to Lake Fayette and there are markers on the lake map but haven't been able to find any info about what they are. Are there any user instructions for this download as far as understanding markers and how to transfer to and from my Humminbird? Or is everything just trial and error?

When I went to the webstore to download the price was in a foreign currency that I didn't understand. I guess yours was in US currency? How much was it? Thanks.
