Bryan Bass Club won it by a good margin.
Tyler Bass club then Fielder Road BC Bass Club.

What "twist" did Tom put on it this year? He always seems to do something to make it interesting.
I may need to start up a new bass club and limit it to one tournament per year and limit the membership to 6 to ever be able to make it to one! LOL

Well Jason, it went something like this.
You remember the ole "mystery lake" days back with the Bass Master Classic?
What we did was a little like that. The tournament was announced for Bob Sandlin, thus on Friday the practice day everybody was pre fishing on Bob Sandlin. That night at the meeting they were told they would have to start the first tournament day on either Cypress Springs or Monticello then, once they caught a 4 fish limit on their "mystery lake" I would weight them in and let them go launch at Bob Sandlin to fish the rest of the day for a 5 fish limit. Day 2 they had to start on the opposite "mystery lake" catch a 4 fish limit then head to Bob Sandlin.
I thought it was a unique situation with those 3 lakes being located the way they are with about 10 minutes inbetween the ramps we were using. I'm very thankful of those guys in the clubs there. I explained how the intent was to challenge them as fishermen and as a 6 man team. I always get some raised eyebrows during the explanation of the format, but once its understood, they seemed to like doing something a little different than every other tournament they go to. I got lots of feedback from the clubs and it was 100% positive, most thought this was the best format yet. Only sad part is, that may be the only place in the state we could do one just like that. But, that opens up more possibilities for next year!!!
Top 6 2012 will be in the south east region, third weekend in Nov. Be there!!!

It was a great weekend just wish we could have caught more fish. Next time we need to let the air out of the tires of the Bryan Bass club so we can get a lead on them. Good job of fishing.

Tom that is great! You are going to run out of ideas eventually and you are right there aren't many lakes you can fish like those three. You definitely keep those guys guessing. Next year they'll be practicing all the lakes in an area or only fishing with a certain lure or fishing left handed only while standing on one foot, or...LOL I love it!
There are some big lakes you could split in two and do something like that for. Like Rayburn north and south of 147, Palestine split at 155, Richland Chambers split at 287 etc.
