I knew someone would get persnickety! iPhone typing sometimes has a mind of its own, but c'mon man! I thought the idea was to communicate with others. I talk to myself in code all the time! And even then the other voices in my head sometimes can't understand what I'm saying!

So you blame technology for something you learned in grade school? Just kidding. iPhones love to replace words and create many awkward situations for it's users. But back to the idea of the post.

1. Hook your lure as if you were gonna Texas rig it then thread it up to the eye of the hook.
2. Put your inch and half red or purple grub's nose on the hook and thread it on as much as you can then poke the hook through so the tail points down.
3. Now grab the first lure you put on and hook it how you would Texas rig it and that's it.

When I did it I used a baby brush hog that was a dark green ( you can use which ever colors you prefer for both the grub and brush hog) and I hooked it on to a 3/0 gamakatsu weighted off set worm hook ( doubt that is the proper name). You can use a un-weighted hook too, but I like the weighted cause my lure swims better and doesn't twist. If you have any questions just ask and I'll do my best to answer them.

1. Download the Photobucket app from the app store (it's free).
2. Create a free account.
3. Upload said photo to free account.
4. Copy url of the image (the one with brackets - looks like this: [ IMG ] ) from Photobucket app.
5. Paste that into input where you type posts on this site.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 with pictures of hot women - particularly brunettes.

dead sticking--NEW technique? I have been doing that for years with all types of plastic baits and sometimes with a jig. Caught many a fish when they are not actively chasing bait.

I havnt...I'm sure no one has. I would be willing to put money on just as many fish being caught deadsticking any weightless bait such as a senko in that pond.
Try it on a lake then post pics of the rig and the fish. Maybe you will get some better feedback.

I love the mix of serious and sarcastic responses in this post. Only the TFF can take something so simple and turn it into a confusing mess of humor, LOL.

I didn't see any sarcasm in there. I'm serious man, big bronzebacks bite bucktail baits behind bushy beaver dams. Try it next time your on a river system in the NorthEast. :-)

THIS GUY seems to be waaaaaaay to nice! An enthusiastic young man comes on here with a selflessness attitude wanting to share something he has learned and what does he get? A bunch of condescending crotchety old wind bags refuseing to believe that they can learn anything from someone with less experience. I started fishing really young and I'll never forget when I finally got my own old aluminum boat. I would pull up at a pot tourny and no one would even notice until the end of the night and I would start pulling fish out. You could beat those guys over and over and they would never surmise to the fact you where better. That was a long time ago but I guarantee you I fear those young guys that have that passion. This may be my first official rant on here. I guess I'm a crotchety old windbag too but I love to hear passion for the sport that defines so many of us.
