These are just some pics from this last May. I lost count of how many 6 to 9 lb bass we caught in 4 months time. The last pic was post spawn in march. I added a pic of the 2 big Crappie my wife caught in March. We didn't know until we ate it that the 3.9lb one on the left was a lake record. Would have liked for her to get the recognition, but it sure was good eating.

Sorry, read my signature. Already here as of the 13th. laugh Would have been happy to bring you along though. smile

The amazing thing about my wifes fish is she caught all of her bass using a Zebco 33 that I spooled 12 lb Florocast on mounted on an All Star worm rod. I couldn't believe how well that reel held up catching that 7 lb and all the 3 to 6 lb fish she caught.

If you're being sincere, y'all are some real good people thumb

Those Zebco 33s are some stud spin-cast reels, that is what I started with at age 11 (bass fishing)

Heck yes, I'd have brought you along. That is if you didn't mind sleeping the basement of my Montana 5th Wheel.

We've been married 30 yrs and I just gave up on teaching her to use any other kind of reel. I told her she would mess up the 33 if she got a hold of a fish bigger than 3 lbs. I don't remember the exact number she caught over 5 lbs that day, but she out fished me. I had a blast watching her reel in those big fish and her reel wouldn't reel very fast. We did learn one thing that day, if the fish is pulling drag, DO NOT crank the real handle. You will twist your line so bad you'll have to respool. I made a monster that day. She loves to go fishing now even if we don't catch much, which doesn't happen on Falcon.

Day? Heck we had 4 months of fun that time, and 3 to 5 months to enjoy Falcon this time. Envy us yet?
