Glen, Janice and I hit LL early and enjoyed the Sunrise on a Calm Lake for a change. Oh yes it was a bit nippy to start, but dressed right it wasn't a problem. Janice did complain a bit when she discovered I forgot the hand warmers. This didn't last long as the Hot Crappie Action took her mind off cold fingers. The fish were extra nice today. Big heavy shoulders on almost all the fish. We have been catching Crappie suspended about 12-13 feet down in 15-17 feet of water. Things were a bit different today. The fish were holding very close to the bottom (like 6 inches off the bottom) in 15-17 feet of water. Zoro and Tomato Seeds did the trick all day. Ended the day with 31 beautiful Crappie.   Jiged

Way to go! That's a good lookin' mess of fish ya'll got there. I wish I could get my wife to go fishing when the weather is nice, let alone inclement weather.
