They are just close we fish pines tawakani fork Whitney aquilla Squaw just to name a few a lot also they are just not close to fish every weekend . Cleburne and alvavrado are 5 min away and have big fish. I have a 10 from Alvarado and many 5-7s don't knock it before you try it.

It's all good man. Y'all need to come fish with us at Benbrook when it ever fills back up. I live in Joshua so I know what you mean as far as fishing somewhere close to home.

Hit EM 11/16 from 0700 - 1400.Windy and cool out w/water temps 60-64* out of West Bay marina.About 10 am the bite turned on with bass hitting anywhere from shallow to 20'.Small craw baits on a spot remover was the ticket.They wouldn`t hit a jig or c-rig.Was nailing them till time ran out.Water level is unbelievably low.Had to push the boat off the trailer and crank it back on.
