I have a 25hp nissan four stroke and it's a good engine. I have a place in Arkansas on the White River and Nissan and Tohatsu used to be THE engine to run on the river. The 10-15 horse two strokes were used on the river for years by the local guides and they held up very well to those harsh conditions. The dealer that sold Nissan closed some years ago and now Mercury 15hp is the most used engine around that area.

Most of the guides use Yamaha. Most fish camps use Yamaha and Mercury.I think the Nissan and Tohatsu are the same engine, but heard they are good. How many are you looking for? Sure you can find a dealer that would hook you up with a package deal. I would be carefull on Ebay. CBW
Theres only two kinds. Good ole big'ems. And big ole good ems.
