I think there is only a handful of them on Earth (maybe 5) and they just continue to be passed around over and over. Every 30 years or so one of them finally falls apart and must be replaced.

I worked for Rainbo/Manor bread years ago. I used to get cases of that Manor Fruit Cake shoved into my truck every year. I would eventually wind up taking the loss and giving the damn things away. I hated them. It was automatically about a $500 hit on my paycheck. The metal “tins” they came in were cool though. Made for good storage containers.
