Can't complain about payouts for sure. Are there other tourneys in Texas you can enter for less than $200 and have a shot at 20k?

I prefer to pre-fish on Friday. Gives me an opportunity to make sure the fish are still there.

They didn't have any questions on the payouts... The pay outs are great! The payout for first is great and definitely one of the best deals going. Drops considerably after that though. I think alot of people would like them to pay less spots and pay more to the top 10. That way if you get second or third in a different division you actually make a little money. If you don't win and you want to fish multiple Bass Champs regions it makes it hard to even break even. I fish the Central and South divisions though and the central draws the least amount of teams of any division I think.

Yep pay too many places...$20k is their marketing/draw that really benefits jackpotting certain tourneys. For a real trail with 200+ teams a top ten should pay more than expenses. If they keep it at 20k and pay so deep it would be nice if it was a two day tourney.
South region you can travel and make top 10 and actually lose money if you prefished. I like bass champs but payouts leave some to be desired. Sure the $20k sticks in everyones head and that's their niche but a top ten should pay in a 200 boat tourney.
