Last night me and a buddy of mine were on the lake. Before we even took off I went to turn my power switch on so I had my electronics. NOTHING! I checked all of the fuses and they were all good and also checked the battery and all connections were fine too. All electronics are hooked up to my starting battery wich started just fine but nothing else worked. What could this be? Also, I have a minkota t/m 24 volt that will sometimes quit on me if I stay on it to long and someone told me that the breaker just needs to be reset. Where is the breaker and what does this mean? I am a wiring IDIOT when it comes to this stuff and need some desperate help. Thanks..

Oh yea, the boat is a 2000 model skeeter with a 150 yamaha on it. Any help?

Well I don't know where to start on the main wiring but the breaker, if your boat has one, is the little grey or black box on your TM batteries where you wiring hooks up. There should be a little button on the side of that small breaker box that is tripped and you just have to push it back in. It is supposed to keep your battery from overheating. Happens on my buddies boat if he had the TM on high constantly for more than 20 to 30 secs. One of these days if we ever hit the lake I will show you what I am talking about. laugh

Well, I dont think there are any breakers on the batteries because I have never seen those before? I guess I just need to stay off the t/m than..

BASSMASTER
do you have a fuse block that has the terminals attached to the outside lugs,of fuse block (little blade) if so remove them one at a time and reinstall.they may have some corrosion built up.if not if you have the control panel that is push button there is a connector on the back of it that you can unplug and reconnect and it should work.if not and your in the Mesquite area i would be willing to look at it for you.I am not a boat mechanic but i am an ase master auto repair technician.call me at 214-538-9071 cell
