Is there a website that has an exploded view of a Mariner lower unit? I need to replace my prop shaft. I don't believe it can be that tuff of a job. Or maybe so... any help would be appreciated.

You can find a parts explosion at mercurymarine.com, but you'll need a good manual and some specialized tools. Not for the adverage mechanic...

Not that hard of a job, just a big time consuming job, but the problem is the special spanner wrench you will need to get the hub ring off. Get a good manual and if you got a good buddy that works as a mechanic at a boat dealer and can use his spanner wrench and pullers, you can do it yourself. If not better let the pro's do it.

Tried it myself, wasted a day, took it to a pro. Money well spent!
