I like full size brush hogs and they come through the trees well. Also, for the jigs check out the Jo Baby - Falcon Brush Jigs down at Falcon Lake Tackle. thumb

If they want my $400 they will. Every guide I use no matter if it's fresh or saltwater provides everything. Sometimes I bring my rods, but that is it. Plus, I tip well!

i'd say just hit falcon tackle in the am on the way to the ramp, they open early and will be able to direct you on what t buy, his prices arn't very far off from acadamy etc.

I brought down a bunch of stuff with me and ended up using 95% of what i bought there and not much from home...

My wife told me that our Anniv is coming up and that she wanted to go on a trip (keep in mind we just got back from vegas and dropped 3 grand just a couple of weeks ago) so anyways I told her " A trip? " so I paused about 10 seconds and then told her " I'll go on a fishing trip " she replied "That's fine with me " and the rest is History ! It does help when your wife likes to bass fish just as much as you do -- specially when buying a new skeeter and gear etc etc
