FishnGonz, for weight in the bed of my pickup, I'm using a couple of 80 lb bags of cement. They provide a lot of weight in a small package. I just put one on each side of the bed.

fishngonz- the chock works, I hang on to the rope from the window,, or have my partner pull it out when I get moving.

RexW- the concrete bags are a good idea, lotsa weight in a small package and cheap, too. I wonder if it would be more convenient to fill a couple 5 gallon buckets with concrete- wouldn't have to worry about the bag breaking. The handle would be handy too.

An automatic would be nice but it ain't gonna happen for me any time soon!

Hey guys, I think that these will work, I like the bucket idea with cement or heck even sand for that matter. I tried to acquire a wheel chock from work but of course was unable to find one...But will definetly get the extra weight in the truck... and yes an automatic would be nice..very nice! fish

4x4
It costs more when you buy your truck but you get it back when you sell. 4x4's sell faster also! (they used to now with the cost of gas I am not sure)

I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!
