My post is missing? eek Hope I did not offend anyone by asking for information regarding this dealer. I just wanted to get some info on my local Skeeter representative. I had looked up on the Bass Champs website and Skeeter is the boat of choice. Seems you double your take if you win with a Skeeter. Anyway, not sure where it went, could be a glitch I guess. I can see the entry when I do a search, but the link goes to a different post.

If you read JP announcements about moving the BB to a new server, you'll see that posts made the last day or so were lost. That's probably what happened. I see a lot of stuff missing, like a couple of pages of replies to Duck Jerky's TFF sticker post. My bet is that's what happened to it.

I think TXChamp is right on the money, as usual.

Related to Plano Marine, I think I can sum up all previous posts and threads. From what I've read, many more people have expressed negative comments than have said something positive. Of course, keep in mind, the ones that are unhappy might be more vocal.

I just read the entry, that must be what happened. Seems as though others experienced the same issue. I guess my next question would be if not Plano Marine, then where would you go? Looked on the website for Skeeter dealers and came up with Fun N Sun in Cleburne, Dales Marine in Tyler, and Reeves Marine in Shreveport. Any info on any of those dealers??

Try posting in one of categories at the top of the forum page, Trade/Swap or Open Freshwater. I think a lot more people read those on a regular basis. Just ask where is a good place to buy a Skeeter.

Evcomp, Fun-n-Sun has a dealership in Hurst. That might be a little closer to you.

RMP, how do you like your Fish & Ski? I currently have the Nitro version right now and I like it. It gives me the best of both worlds with having a family and wanting to be a fisherman. People look at you sideways sometimes at the fishing tournaments, but I still have livewells to keep my fish alive. My Nitro seems under powered even though I opted for a larger 125 HP motor. Really should be rigged with a 150 for such a heavy boat.

Thanks,

evcomp

evcomp,

Don't know if you are interested, but I've got a Skeeter that I am thinking about selling due to lack of time to use it. It's a 2000 ZX185 with a Yamaha VMAX 150 on it. It was made in late 2000 and I bought it new in 2001. It has the newer body style that they changed to in 2001. Great boat and I'm willing to make a deal on it. Let me know if you would consider. Thanks.

JDC

Evcomp, I did like the skeeter fishn ski but traded for a ZX 22 Bay. Like the bay for all the room and ease of cleanup. Kids can disect minnows all day then just wash the guts away:)
