I have a Motor Guide model 565 that died on me yesterday-- Hoping someone can tell me what to check. Batteries are charged & I'm getting 24 volts to the T/M. What should I check next? confused confused Thanks in advance. fish fish fish

If it's foot controlled...check under the foot pedal, sometimes there's a little breaker under there that can be reset by pushing the foot control all the way forward.

Sometimes the foot control switch goes bad you can replace that easily its only about 10-12 dollars @ academy.

I have a digital MG 70lb TM Foot control and had a similar issue. Power was getting to the plug, but the motor would not run.

Luckily it was under warranty and I took it to Southwestern Parts and they said it was a bad circuit board and replaced it under warranty. Hope this helps.

Don't know the cost to replace if it is an older motor.

Esteban is right it might be the foot control switch simple fix!

Also not sure what boat you are running, i found out the hard way that my boat has two breakers in my battery/gas tank compartment, 2 red buttons on the back wall one if i'm running 12v and one if i'm running 24v, after checking everything my buddy noticed it, pressed the button in and i had juice again.
