Hey everyone, just recently purchased a brand new Sweetwater Pontoon Boat (18') The family and I love to go out and do lots of fishing off it  My wife thought of naming it DannyMat for Daniel and Mathew our 2 boys or maybe Dan-Y-Mat...something along those lines. Any suggestions you all could throw my way would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and Happy Fishin'

There is a proper system to give small private craft names. Just as battle ships are named after states, small private craft are to carry female names.

Hey everyone, thanks for the few suggestions so far. Nats I have heard of that (boats with female names) and do have a couple in mind. Just wanted to open it up to everyone and see what catchy names the forum would come up with. Look forward to see what comes out..Keep sending the names and I will advise when I pick one

How about getting the 3 boys involved with a play on words, and titles. "Gonzo M.D." That's all I've got Dr.

How about Dan-O-Matt with a graphic of a stick of dynomite blowing up. Boys love that stuff!!
I'd never heard that about female names....I doubt anybody "really" cares. (No offense to those who do....sounds like that old "her"icane thing that finally got changed!)
Our first boat had blue sparkles around it and a blue interior and we called it "Blue Persuasion" after the old song "Crystal Blue Persuasion"--I still love that name!
