Ok I have decided to upgrade from my '93 Tracker Pro-17 to a bigger bass boat. I have looked at many different types and I'm really up in the air on which one. I keep hearing bad things about different ones. Triton is such a nice boat but I hear they can be a little unstable in rough water, same about Bullet. Ranger is a real nice boat but you pay for it. I'm looking for a good WIDE front deck with a ton of storage and one that I can take the family of three out on and run around in too.
Fish and skies look to have such a small front deck but they look cool. that windshild might get in your way too. What do you all think. I really enjoy the inputs I get from here and would like to know what you all think about your boats.

Try a Procraft, Wellcraft, Boston Whaler, Robolo, Key West, or Mako center console instead of a bass boat.

A bad day fishin' is still better than work!
That's BOATMAN1 with the blue hat on! BUT the BOAT is fake!

I'm not that much of a fan of center console type boats. They seem good for off shore but I like to be up above everything so I can stand right on the edge. I tend to cast side arm too and if I am not up above everything I will slap the sides sometimes. I want a large front deck so I have tons of room to move around and also have storage

I have a 96 Nitro Fish and Ski I bought new. It has a wide front. I think there is pleanty of room. But you can add a board to extend it out if you need to. The windshield has never gotten in the way. I think it fishes very well and it is also a great family boat. I have only used it for skiing and stuff on a few occations. I mostly fish. I love the Nitro, it is very roomy.

Actually 911 is wider by 2 inches. Youi mention storage and big fishing decks. This is the were Nitro 9 series is better than the rest. I take my family out all the time in my 911.
