He's officially a junior bull rider! I was in the chute so this was the best pic I could get. My wife has the video, though, so maybe I can upload it.

Bigger than mine. A wise man once told me "If it has balls bigger than yours or teeth bigger than yours, leave it alone."
Words to live by.

Very cool! Our son tried mutton bustin' when he was three. He held on for about 6 or 7 seconds for one really wild ride. He ended up rolling off and getting stepped on in the back. Good thing for the vest and helmet. He got up madder than %$#@%@#$ and took off after the sheep that stepped on him!

We skipped the muttin bustin (couldnt ever get him in one). He's been practicing on donkeys, though. He jumps up and holds on for dear life! We went to a rodeo that had mini bulls and inquired about it and now every weekend he is buckin' on them. Hes got A LOT of learning to do, but he like it.
His ride last night was ROUGH!! He lasted 2 seconds before being launched off superman style. He took a headbutt in the facemask from the bull and two hooves to the arm... but he jumped up and was ready for more.

2 seconds is longer than I would have lasted even on a mini bull!

I got the #$%^ stomped out of me when I was 16. That was the last time I rode in my short bull riding career. I still have problems with my hamstrings on occasion. I do allow my boy to handle venomous snakes under my supervision with appropriate equipment. The difference is a snake can be easily controlled and he is always growing larger than the snakes, making it easier. Bulls will be getting larger and meaner, making it increasingly dangerous. Good luck and I am glad to see him wearing a helmet.

If he keeps it up, he may not have any more cajones. Them bulls are rough on the junk.

Jody Bareback actually a lot harder on your body than bulls. I was way to big to be bullriding but actually made some $ riding broncs. Bull riding was "fun" for me back then.
