John, are you still selling your homemade purple buzzbaits that outfishes everything on Hubbard? I gave my last one to SeaPro Todd and Moe's not getting any in until next year. I know "El" Nitro patented these a few years back but he doesn't sell the original version anymore. You were right, this bait works great from the shore since you can almost walk across Ray Hubbard these days. Hey David, I have the mold for the infamous purple buzz, got it from eBay!! Now where can I get glow purple paint???

Todd, Superduck can fix you up with the purple glow paint. There is nothing that man can't get when it comes to fishing. Wikipeida has it that he was the creator of the original banjo minnow.

I thought you fished a purple buzzbait or was that Purple Rattletrap...

Gee -- some time ago, I DROVE a Purple Rattletrap - Some sort of Dodge, I think.
That thing couldn't catch itself.
Years ago, we used block tin squids to catch bluefish and striped bass (Northeast variety). You could bend them to get the action you wanted. So, there were times when EVERYONE was using an "original" lure. They worked great.
