4 pm or so, SaltWater Marc, KaLuB, and myself converged on Bachman Lake for some hoped for slab crappie! We were not disappointed! KaLuB got out first, a few minutes ahead of Marc and myself. By the time we got to the spot, he had two brutes on the stringer and was catching and releasing a dink on every drop! Did not take long for Marc and I to catch up! In a span of a little over two hours,between the 3 of us i would guess 100 or more crappie were caught! Every color of hollow body tube jig produced fish! Minnows produced fish! A road runner produced fish! Exactly what i expected when i peaked out the window this morning and saw a soft white cover of frost on my green lawn! 13-15 ft of water, suspened at 10-12 ft at the tip tops of the submerged Christmas trees I planted there last yr and yr before! All fish caught on UL gear, with line from 4 lb to 6 lb.  Marc:   Me:   I am so happy, from now to about March 1st! Then the whites should be in Cow Creek! Rudy
