I fish on the back of my Sons' boat.I bring as many as possible on the basis that I am old and it is my turn to be a pain in the rear.  A+

6-7, But I dont let them get laid on the desk, wrap them back up and stow them where they belong when your not using them. I havent had any complaints yet and when Boater is ready to leave, Im always ready.

6 is more than plenty
5 if your carrying a spinning rod
After 5 years as a coangler this is what I have found to be about perfect
Spinning rods suck cause they tangle so easy
