Anybody fished these ponds in Frisco? I'm looking for a few spots to bank fish when I get an hour or two of free time. Are these ponds any good? If not, where should I go? Fishing for Bass. Thanks for any input.

I have fished WSC caught a few decent LMB but there is a lot of pressure there. The North end of the pond has always worked out best for me.

both have fish. I thnk at Frisco Commons they cloned a 1 lb bass and put all the offspring in here cause every bass you catch is the same size. But they are there.

The other lake has bass in it as well. As stated earlier it gets lots of pressure.

I went to Warren pond yesterday and fished for about an hour. Fished the whole pond, but mainly the north side. I caught two small ones on a grande bass rattlesnake with a shakey head and then caught three bass on a white chatterbait. Last one I caught was from the dock on the east side of the pond, probably about a 2-1/2 to 3 pounder. I took a picture I will try to post. Seems like a descent pond to fish.

I can't figure out how to post the picture, but it was a good fish from there.

I fish WSC almost daily. There are some decent fish in there. If you've not fished it before this past summer, the water line is (was) usually about half way up the dam on the north side. I do well ther after dark with a black spinner bait with a Colorado blade on it. Also, the south side in the spring poduces good fish on a spro frog. Weightless senkos also produce. PM me if you want another spot near there.

If it's the one in the sub-division off N County be careful. They've put up a sign saying residents only and will call the police. crying

Has anyone ever seen carp in these ponds? I'm looking for a pond in frisco with carp or buffalo in it.

No carp that I know of at WSC but I know for sure that there is a HUGE koi in there that someone must have released. It's probably 3' long.
