I was wanting to get an on board battery charger for my trolling motor battery. Might get a 2 charger onboard, but I am unsure. I may just get a singleWhat should I features should I look for? I was wanting to keep it under 100.00

First it would depend on how many batteries you have. If you have a cranking battery and a trolling moter battery then get a two bank charger that way you can charge both at the same time. You can get one at Bass Pro. I'm not sure of the price but it should be around $100...

how bout trickle chargers ... any of you ever used those? i haven't done it, but like the idea of mounting one out of the way on my t-top to keep things charged.

I bought an XPS charger from Bass Pro for $70. It's an 8amp, dual bank charger (4amps per bank). It has 3 automatic charging rates: Bulk=full 8amp charge, Absorption= 1.5-5amp charge, and Float/Maintenance=less than 1.5amps. It appears to be made by Guest because I received their registration card with my unit. So far its great.
