Bass Pro has some too. I keep my boat outside under a custom cover. 90 model Skeeter. Going to have to replace it soon too. Biggest deal is to not let any plastic/vinyl touch the clearcoat. A pourus canvas or fabric is best in the heat.

Good Luck

Last one I bought was from Academy. It is a Marine Tech Model D for a 17-19' F/S 96" wide. Cost me about $120. It's trailerable too. I was amazed when I got it home. It has an elastic strap around the bottom so it snugs up real good and straps that go inderneath an connect to the other side. In the past my $100 boat covers usually make it a year or so. I believe this one will last longer. It has special polyester material with UV guard. thumb

I've tried two different brands in four years and have not found one that fits my 372V correctly.
I think the next one will be a custom made job. These off the shelf brands only seem to last two years at the most.

I purchased a custom boat cover for my Skeeter from I-Boat.com and it fits perfectly. I think I paid around 350.00 for it.

I second the Nolans covers. $500 custom cover. They come to you and build it on site. It fits my 19' fish and ski like a glove!

Sun and dirt (in the form of dust) seem to be the greater enemies of finishes and textiles, especially sunlight on PVC. So I don't worry so much about moisture as long as my cover is NOT plastic or pvc coated nylon or poly...poly by itself With UV treatment is excellent, and not too costly. I think it's very important to have a cover that "breathes". Just like 91cajun, I bought mine at Academy...had it for four years now...I too use it for storage only, even though I keep my rig in a garage. On the rare occasions when I find it necessary to store it out of doors I'm very comfortable with just the cover. Like you, gander, I'm not willing to part with a King's ransom for a boat cover. Good Luck!
