Saw on the BBC that Media did not allow the A-rig in a recent event in another state. Then I looked at the Media rules and it specifically states ONLY 1 lure on the line is allowed. I guess that means using a jig as a weight on a drop shop or C-rig is not allowed any longer or even the Tailchaser tipe baits, double fluke rigs etc.

Not sure and to be fair I am not sure if they did not have that rule in place prior to the A rig hype. Needless to say I have no issues with their rules and will not hesitate to fish with them. I just thought it was interesting when I saw the other post. Makes me wonder if more trails will do so.

Good for them, hopefully many others to follow. Then I wont ever have to weed thru the A rig threads to find the ones that are actually about fishing.

Either way I will fish any media tournament, but it sounds like they need to define the rules a little better if its specifically about the A rig, because they have allowed the other rigs in the past years.

Just courious about opinions about the rule itself, not the tournament trail. Media is a great trail

They would definately need to clarify the rule a little more by the season. I always use a shakey head for my weight on a drop shot and throw the donkey rig in the spring time
