Long story short...... I rigged up a rod for a young man to catfish with and Jimmy baited me up. I dropped the line down to show this boy about where to hold the bait. About the time the bait hit the water, a catfish nailed it and took off with it so I was trying to give him the rod and step out of the way BUT..... there just wasn't any dock where I stepped

Was the water cold? .....I dunno, I was out like a cat It is btw still over six feet deep in that stall and no, I was not drinking at that point and time

Jimmy and Joe bought a life jacket for me and hang it on the walkway to the dock now, so please do not remove. It has a special purpose

I would have never told that.....deny, deny,deny.
Hopefully I will be back out on the water soon and get in on some of that action, great report.

The weather was super windy and cold Friday AM, post front and all. At Holiday early morning, we saw white caps and debating weather to call it off (both Jimmy and Matt)...but glad we didnt! We had one cooler full, filled to the top!! Thanks Matt!! My nephew and pastor and I had blast!! Its always fun fishing with Matt!!

Hey Matt, after a good day of fishing...this is what my wife made for dinner last night...fresh grilled salmon and shrimp from Twok...hehehe

Now that looks good!!! I prefer Coors Lite though..lol

Disreguard previous report, today was another toughy. We caught some sand bass, but I didnt even hear of any striper or hybrid caught. Maybe after this high pressure and blue bird skies move out it will be back to game on fishing, but today was a tough day.

Where did the big fish go?????????
We didn't get out until about noon and stayed until dark. Ran all over the lake and caught some "Tawakoni-sized" sand bass, but no big fish.
Still .......... nice day to be on the lake!

Today - Monday - Halloween.
Same as Sat.
Out at daylight this time.
No birds, no topwater, just quite a few BIG sand bass, no hybrids or stripers except small ones.
Still, a beautiful day and beat being at work!

Maybe they will turn on for you on Tuesday - weather changes on the way.

Hey Big, how about posting up some pictures, Todd's stuff just makes me hungry.
