I have a 30 year old fisher marine jon boat rigged out for bassing. The rivits leak. Cant really get under the decks to peen the rivits. Thinking of fiberglassing the bottom of the boat to stop leaks. Any suggestions or alternate methods? Boat is now equipped with a 750 gpm bilge pump that keeps me afloat but I would be i trouble if the battery ever failed.

I have a 76 aluminum that was the same way. Turned the boat upside down, used a small sandblaster to clean around each rivet, then covered all of them with JB Weld. Repainted the boat and no more leaks. It used to keep a 500gpm bilge pump busy but no more.
