The gun you carry is always better than the one you don't regardless of caliber. I take out Coyote with .22 mag at 50 yards or more, I'm sure any human confrontation would be significantly closer and while it may not be optimal for a one shot drop, the guy on the other end will have no idea what caliber it is. Out of a barrel that short the report will be loud as carp and impact will tell the attacker one thing only, "You've been shot!" If said attacker then still has the ability to run, he likely will. If not, 4 more shots will put him in a really bad place. Of course we can hypothesis about the hyped up speed freak on PCP who won't feel it and keep on coming, but seriously what are the odds, especially on the water.

Nowadays so many people think you gotta have the biggest newest gun that TV says is the best because its indestructible, I've had champion competitive marksman and police sharpshooters explain that while tough as nails, that plastic piece can't out shoot most other handguns in the same size, capacity and weight. Then people take that over-idolized firearm and put grips, lights and lasers on it and act like you can't be safe without all that garb.

Forget em!

I don't have a clue why but, all this talk of boat guns reminds me of the recent documentary regarding the finding of Blackbeards (1700's pirate) cannon along the Carolina coast. It was a pretty big cannon that didn't seem to help Blackbeard much.

At least my boat and truck are paid for, woo hoo!

Just under 3 bills with tax. Its very loud and pretty darn accurate. Just the thing going off will scare the #%%@ out of someone. It will be perfect for what I got it for.

What dealer did you purchase it from? Thanks.

The Gun Doctor, Inc

Longview, Texas 75601

Just punch in "Gun Doctor, Longview Texas" and you will find the web site. They have a pretty good web site also, lots of stuff.

And yes, LSU looks really good this year, they are just as balanced on offense as they are on defense. They beat Bama, I think its a done deal for the title.
