Add ring free and marine stabil everytime I add gas. No problems in 6 years.

the fuel stabilizer I was referring to is actually called "yamalube fuel stabilizer and conditioner plus", just looked at the bottle in my garage. 6.00 for 12 oz bottle at most places. One bottle will get you through about 25 gallons give or take.

All yall need to do is switch to Mercury performance plus oil instead of Yamalube and you can do away with using Ring Free. Ring Free just went up in price also! Ask your Mechanic about Mercury Performance Plus.

If you're under warranty don't use anything but yammi stuff. It will void your warranty. Out of warranty do what you please.

rxkid2001 you are wrong. Their is a Federal Trade Law that says if you make an additive mandatory, you have to supply it at no cost.

Yes,every tank plus sta-bil plus added a 10 micron fuel filter.

Keeps the rings, cylinders, pistons, etc. clean; ie reduces carbon in the engine.

due to epa all oils dont have carbon gaurd in then thats why yamaha recomend ring free i would you it with all products
