Has anyone tried the New Proangler Reels, and what is your opinion on them, I am really curious, these are Tex's signature reels, and I bet they are some good ones!!!

I got one a couple of weeks ago. I like it pretty good. I have prolly caught close to 20 fish on it with out any problems. The only issue I have had is getting use to it. I had a couple of birdnest with it and the line can get between the sides of the spool and the housing. It wasn't bad it just kinda pinched the line a little. Other than that I have had no issues. I would recommend it.

Id like to price one... I'm getting ready to convert all my spinning reels to baitcasters.. for drifting use.

They don't publish a weight....anyone know the weight of the reel>?

Just took one out of the box and put it on the scale with regular handle=11.8 oz
