I work at a machine shop and I am fortunate enough that the boss doesnt mind government work. With the help of my buddy Joe(he built the base) we got it done today. It is all aluminum and stainless hardware. Let me know what y'all think. http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g400/Xrsdd/e075e1c3.jpg

Is it just me or should the bar be higher? Motor looks like it is right in front of it. Could be angle of the picture. I made some just like it. You should bend the rod holder down just a bit. It will raise the rod tip up. Looks nice.
