So as of right now I'm a huge fan of shakeyheading after this winning money in a tournament on them, almost catching my biggest bass ever(came off boatside:/ ) and just how well they seem to work. Any way currently I like throwing Flirts in both sizes but I'm curious. Can y'all recommend a good hook brand that works well, I've used picasso, owner, and vicious and i have some big bites and lake fork ones i'm gonna try this weekend. Also are there any other types of trick worm like lures y'all recommend that I should give a try? I used zoom trick worms and netbait trick worms at the tournament before. Thanks.

The Bite-Me jig heads are good. I think Strike King is making them now, but those were awesome. Really simple looking but very effective.

Depends what the fish want. I use a lot of techniques. Sometimes i cast it and just let it sit and slowly drag it. However sometimes it needs more action so i let it sit and then twitch it. When i use it im always sure to let it sit. That way when that worm is up it can have that action the water gives.

Throw some Hag's Tornadoes and hold on And watch half of your worm fly off when you cast like has happened to me on several different occasions with Hag's.

Big problem, I fish them all the time on a Shakeyhead and they do not come off even if I cast them!!

First of all it depends how heavy of a line you are using. If you are using a light line you need a thin wired hook. The reason is the hook pentrates better with the light line. It you are using a heavy line say 17lb test or above you need a little thicker wired hook. Just because you can set the hook harder. As far as a worm goes. It is what you feel confidence in. Usually highly pressured lakes I go with a smaller worm. If fish are a little more aggressive I go with a bigger worm.
