Anybody catching any crappie from tha banks anywhere round lewisville lake?? Wanting to catch some crappie&have a good fish fry, just moved back to lewisville it's been a longtime since I crappie fished, any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

What's the depth at Alton? I've never caught anything but poison ivy out there.

I should be on them in less than a week. I will have a seminar at bass pro garland mid November on creekin it for crappie.

Lots of the bank sites in Houston are crappie....I mean crappy.

Are you there all day or just one seminar? I have watched those on youtube. Good stuff.

Have you finalized the date yet? Probably won't get to go since I always work the last half of the week (at least until January), but I might be able to take off with enough notice.

Should probably just bite the bullet and book a trip with you. I've heard nothing but good things, it's just finding the time and convincing the wife.

Lol. U need more time to fish it looks like. They should be calling me in a day or two and I'll post it up in a new thread. The seminar should be about an hour long or so and then I go back to the lake.

Anyone have any news on crappie on White Rock lake

They will post in the winter crappie run thread if anyone reports. Couple dinks are coming out, but not till that water is 55 degrees will they come through. Still have to get some cold weather for that. Right now the lake it 62-65. Crappie are 5-12 ft in the shallows.
