hello everyone, well long story short i've been out on my boat a few times now and just can't seem to catch em like you guys with jigs. i plan on getting a guide when im able to teach me the ropes any suggestions. I fish LL,RH,JP with little success and plan to try it again this weekend

where have you been fishing. Bridges and Brush piles are always a good start. Keep moving until you find some active fish. If im not catching any good numbers within 30-60min. I move to a different location.

I agree with Jparadise Brush Piles and Bridge Pillars especially the shady sides but you have to find them by exploring the whole water collum until you get a bite. Once you get bit target that depth with your offerings. You can never go wrong with a good guide preferably one that will teach like Carey Thorn aka Tarpon Fly & there is no substitute for TOW.The more you go the more you will know.
