I've wondered this same thing. I Googled them several weeks ago, looking for a rod that I purchased from Academy, and had no luck finding a dealer. Their homepage shows a phone number but I didn't try to call.

Looks like their online store is selling rods, sent them an email and will see if they respond back. I just bought a couple of the charter boat rods from Academy down in Houston a few weeks ago.

A few years ago I bought 3 diferent rods by them. The rod I use the most was from the HG42 Series and is a 6ft 8in jigging rod. I love that rod! Just looking to upgrade some reels and have been looking for different rods. I think I'm starting to get wrist and elbow fatigue from round reels. Looking at some low-profile reels.

Well, I never got a response back by email, but I was down in Conroe yesterday for the Toyota Bass Classic and stopped by the Lone star Expo, they did have a booth setup. Plenty of rod inventory, new products and existing, so I'm not sure what's going on.
