I haven't been to Hubbard in some time. I wonder if anyone who has been there lately can report on which ramps are useable for a 17 foot boat on a single axle trailer. From what I have found out Lavon is esentially closed to trailered boats for lack of about 13 feet of water.

I have to be impressed. I just posted and already have two useful replies. Thanks.

I will probably be out tomorrow AM too. I use John Paul Jones, but I know exactly where to go. It's a real mine field over there.

+1 on Robertson. Both ramps are perfectly usable. The ramp on the east side has a flatter angle so you have to go back further. The west side ramp is steeper but it's not in a protected cove if it's windy.

Launched on the West side of Robertson today. You ain't kidding. That's a tough one in the wind!

Tried JPJ, but as I backed the trailer down, I felt it fall off the end of the ramp and barely got it back. MAN is Hubbard LOW!!!

b careful on that west ramp with south wind. I have pulled at least 3 boats away from certain destruction from that nook over last 3 years
