That was a rather shameless plug.

The H2O blues are awesome value for money.

3 trips to Academy cost me 56 bucks in gas. The blue rods aren't bad but I'll stick with something with less of a reputation for breakage. It's good that Academy stands behind them but I've got more important things to do with my time than drive back and forth replacing rods.

I love mine. They cast a mile. All of my reels are the same and I can outcast any of my St. Croix or Falcon rods with them.

are u talking about the ones for like 30 bucks? My dad uses them and they are not bad at all! My dad is a swinger and they hold up real good! They are a little stiffer than what they claim! The Trap rod is a real good worm and spinnerbait rod. . . the jig rod is a heavy heavy action!! but for 30 buck they are really good!

Beats mailing them off and waiting. I am only 12 mins from Academy so no problem for me!

I have 5 that a good friend of mine fishes when he fishes with me and he has a stout hook set and has yet to break one on a hookset, though he did break a 6'6" one casting 1/2oz trap, weird way for a rod to break. The 7' MH and 7'6" H have had zero issues.

Since this spring he has caught fish up to 8 pounds on them with out any issues with a fish on...

They make for a pretty decent cranking rod. I was not impressed with the tip feel when I used it for plastics, so I now use it for crankbaits and it works well.
