Call The Crappie Guy (AKA Guy Skinner), and book a trip on Grapevine. OR use Google Earth find that overflow pond (by Grapevine Golf Course) hoof it down to the bank, and get your jig and bobber on. Stucky and I have caught crappie pushing 2lbs outta there. That walk back up ain't no joke though.

Tulapia at Kroger or Albertsons is the cheapest way to go. Dutch is right on the money there. Crappie fishing don't pay by the pound. If you want cheap fish go to Albertsons. If you want Crappie you gonna have to put in time and money. The Bank fishing section has a google earth map with some decent spots around you and there are some better spots an hour or so away. Ray Roberts Marina could possibly start to get good soon, but I don't know what the lake level looks like. Also Grapevine may have a public marina and I know it has a park or two. Try em out and report back. GLB
