Whats your #1 Shakey plastic? Do you buck the trends and go with big worms or stay finessed? I've been using Zoom's Mag Finesse worms with some good success. I'm thinking creature baits next time I go fishing. Any thoughts?

Ive had success with the mag finesse worms more so than the smaller finesse worms. Also have had success with trick worms and super speed worms with a chart. dipped tail. Just my success. Good question though. Hopefully more shakey fishers will chime in.

I let the water conditions determine the size of the bait I'm thowing. The colder and muddier the water, the bigger and darker I go. Clearer and warmer water the smaller and lighter I go. Also, I pay close attention to how many boats are on the lake and how heavily pressured the fish are. I will tend to go smaller when they are pressured. Something like a Zoom shakey worm. I caught an over on fork on one of these and I had already bit the head off twice. The thing probably wasn't 3 1/2 to 4 " long at the time. Lots of times I will start off by biting a 1/2" - 1" off the head to start with to make my bait smaller. (oh yeah, these things taste terrible, I just don't want to be a sissy and use scissors) I also pay attention to what colors most people are throwing. I usually go with something completely opposite just to offer something different.

Set the hook first, ask questions later!!!

Has anyone else had problems with the hags ripping off of the shakey head after a few casts? Have had this happen on several occasions! and also have yet to get bit with a hags on a shakey head. Have had more luck running it weightless with a rattle in the chamber acutally. The ones i have had luck with are zoom finese worms and roboworms though
