The cold front just hit here complete with sand/dust storm. Those things suck fellas. Good news is the front is right on time.

After going outside this morning, I am thinking that my shorts and t-shirts that I packed may not be warm enough. How cool do you guys think the temps will be at night out there? I am used to the summer trips.

light jeans, some waterproof bottoms over top of them. heavy t shirt. you want some waterproof shoes and bottoms(i like to buy a cheap set from walmart on the way down, then throw them away after I clean the fish when we get back to the docks). i use the shimano evair boots(waterproof).

bring a junk sweat shirt as well, i have been on a couple of trips where i was shivering pretty hard till i start jigging...once the blood gets flowing you can peel off the heavy stuff...

Looks like it will be sunny and warm during the day, night you might need something to cut the wind a bit. Shouldn't be uncomfortable unless you get cold when the temps get into the 70's like it is w/me.

Thanks Willie, It seems like the older I get, the more the cold/cool temps bother me.

It still won't be near as bad as when my 10 year old wants to go trout fishing and the guides on fly rods ice up//////
