I have read in the online that the Comal Springs are the largest in Texas and the American southwest. Seven major springs and dozens of smaller ones occur over a distance of about 4,300 feet at the base of a steep limestone bluff in New Braunfels' Landa Park. The Comal River is the shortest navigable river in the state of Texas in the United States and it is a nice place to fishing.

Awesome fish!
The last fish pictured is a pure strain Smallmouth, I'd say. I've caught hundreds of them up north and out west, and they don't always have vertical stripes that are noticeable. But they're often very dark bronze like that.
If you meant the fish that's not pictured but is in the clickable link, that looks like either a guad or a guad/smallie cross. Guad/smallie crosses are far more common in areas that have both species then largemouth/smallmouth crosses.

Great pics!
Didn't know you could catch Plecos in TX? They're aquarium escapees. Or, at least released by former owners lol. In areas where it doesn't get too cold in the winter because of geography or say, a hot spring or something, they can establish invasive populations.
