I have a new quantum 1310cp reel and while fishing with it today,I lost the cast control nut and whatever else is below it(with the exception of a brass bushing)I don't have the paperwork on the reel so I don't know how much is missing.Does anyone know the E-Mail address for Quantum or where I can get replacement parts???

Quantum is a zebco company, if you go to yahoo you can try either in thier search and will find a web site. If this does not work, most of the sporting goods stores around here are quantum dealers, just ask them to order you a manual for the reel. You could als go to southwest reel repair and they will fix it.

If the above post don't help you can get in touch with Jim Harris with Harris Rod & Reel. He does excellent work for a very reasonable price and is certified to do repair work on most major brands including Quantum. His number is (972) 412-4243
Good luck, BigJon

Cast control nut's are common size. In fact Academy should have this in stock. There is the nut a brass magnet inside and a plastic busing if you lost it that goes in the reel itself that more than likely did not fall out. What I would do is go to Ebay and purchase a cheap Quantum like a 200 series. All those cast control parts should fit the 1310.
