Well, it has been a week since i have been back from my Brazos ordeal and I finally went through everything to see what made it back and what did not. I knew I left my small backpack cooler, since i did not have enough arms to carry it out when the flash flood was happening. What i did not realize is I left my Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx in the outside pocket of that cooler. I know this is a stretch, but we do have some honest folks out there. If anyone has gone to the brazos since, and camped across from the Worth Ranch and found it I sure would love to have it back.
It is a nice one. If it would help, I imagine I could scrape together some type of reward if need be.
Like i said it is a stretch asking, but who knows....
Thanks Steve

Well, I must truly be blessed. I just got a call from an individual that wants no recognition. Said he was out there this past weekend and has my GPS. It had my name and number engraved in it so he called me. He said he did not see my backpack cooler though. He lives in Ft Worth and I am driving over there tonight to pick it up. I asked what he wanted, reward wise, and he said nothing. "People shouldn't expect somthing for doing the right thing." He wasn't fishing, just canoeing this weekend with friends. Man, my trip sure has restored my faith in many different ways.
I made some promises while I was stranded that morning, I have held true to all of them and plan on staying on that track. I guess some things need to happen to make sure we are focussed on the right part of life.

I left my Garmin GPS on the top of my Honda Pilot while driving around Alamosa, CO one time. Didn't realize I was missing it until much later that evening.
By the time I made it back to my hotel I had an email from the guy that found it.
Same story, he didn't want anything in return. I went to pick it up and spent some time visiting with his great family.
Certainly restores your faith on humanity.
